Off Road & Just Off
The latest, slightly short update sees TTC's women take top billing with their performances at the Croome Capability Canter. The off road event was billed as a 10k but most competitors seemed to clock around the 6.5 miles for the race.
First home from TTC was Becky in 1:03:04 followed 20 seconds later by Caroline in 1:03:24. Linda and Kathy finished together in 1:15:00.
While on the subject of women's running, Elaine picked up this impressive cup for winning her running club's 2017 Outstanding women's individual performance for her PB and first sub 4 hour finish at the Chester marathon. Well done Elaine!
The final article was going to be the results of Aquathlon 2 which was due to take place on 10th December. Despite looking a possibility the night before, the earlier than anticipated snow meant that it was unfortunately cancelled first thing on Sunday morning. All entries will be carried over to the next event. Spare a thought for the Osborne family who reluctantly had to force themselves to eat the cake they had made or the event.
Still there's always the next Aquathlon (and no doubt cake) which is scheduled for 14th January 2018.
